The Composition of Board of Directors (BoD)

The Board of Directors of SriLankan Airlines Limited shall be the Governing Authority of the Campus of SriLankan Airlines, and shall comprise the following persons:

1. Chairman
2. Directors (06 members)

1.1 The Composition of Board of Management (BoM)

The Board of Management of the Campus of SriLankan Airlines shall be the Executive Body and the Governing Authority of the Campus of SriLankan Airlines, and shall comprise the following persons:

1. General Manager
2. Vice Chancellor
3. Deans of Faculties
4. Selected two members from among Senate (Specified for HODs)
5. External Members: The number of members as would be equal to the total number of members under (a), (b), (c), (d) above, and increased by one, appointed by the Board of Directors from among persons who have rendered distinguished service in administration, legal, travel, tourism, quality assurance engineering, accounting, educational, professional, commercial, industrial, or scientific spheres.
6. Finance Manager
7. Planning and Marketing Manager
8. Academic Ancillary Services Manager (Students & Staff)
9. The Secretary to the BoM shall be the Registrar of Campus of SriLankan Airlines.

3.1 The Composition of Senate

The Senate shall be the academic authority of the Campus of SriLankan Airlines and the Senate shall consist of the following persons:

1. Vice-Chancellor
2. Deans of all the Faculties
3. Heads of each Department
4. All permanent Professors of the Campus of SriLankan Airlines
5. The Librarian; and
6. Two lecturers other than those referred to in the preceding paragraphs of this subsection, recommended by the Dean from and among the permanent lecturers of each faculty. Each nominated member shall hold office for a period of three (03) years.

1. The Dean of the Faculty;
2. All permanent Professors, Associate Professors, Senior Lecturers, and Lecturers of the Departments of Study under the Faculty;
3. HTwo members nominated by Dean from and among the permanent Assistant Lecturers of the Faculty;
4. Two members of the permanent staff of the Management of the Faculty excluding those referred to in (a), (b) and (c) above;
5. Three persons who are not members of the staff of the Campus of SriLankan Airlines and who would be nominated by the Faculty Board from among persons of eminence in the areas of study relevant to the Faculty;
6. Two students nominated by the students of the Faculty.

9. Two student’s representatives nominated by the students of each faculty
