Basic Course in Aircraft Maintenance
The course is designed as per the EASA Part 66 basic training Category B1.1 requirements. B1.1 - Mechanical stream will be predominantly associated with aircraft structure, aircraft systems such as Air-conditioning System, Hydraulic Power, Landing gear, Doors, Aircraft Engine etc. essentially associating with Mechanical aspects of the aircraft.

The following workshops and on-the-job training opportunities will be offered during the course period (based on the stream followed).
Course certificates will be awarded to those who successfully complete all examinations, practical assessments and fulfil attendance requirements.
EASA Part 66 B1.1 / B2 is approved by Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka, EASA 147, Maldivian Civil Aviation Department and Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority Approval.Successful completion of GCE (O/L) with 6 passes with 4 credits or an equivalent qualification including passes for Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology etc.) & Mathematics. And a credit pass for English and a score of 5 or more for all categories in the IELTS exam. (IELTS requirement will be waived off for the students who have followed G C E O/L in English medium.)

B2 - Avionic stream will be predominantly associated with Electrical Power Systems, Aircraft Navigational and Instrument Systems, Communication etc, associating with Electrical, Instruments, and Radio equipment of the Aircraft.

Successful completionof GCE O/L (Local or London) with 6 passes including 4 Credit passes with creditfor Mathematics, Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology etc.) in one sitting and aCredit Pass for English in any sitting
